Flight

Director: Robert Zemeckis
Writer: John Gatins
Stars: Denzel Washington, Nadine Velazquez, Don Cheadle, Bruce Greenwood etc.
Runtime: 138 min
Trailer: http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/flight_2012/trailers/11167106/

When I watch a movie I always have different movies I can choose by and I often see the trailers before I choose film. To discover after 30 minutes that the movie is bad, always sucks because I hate when you turn off a movie after you have seen a bit of it, so before watching a movie it is necessary for me to watch the trailer. In my blog I haven’t blogged about a bad movie yet and that is because I watch the trailers and yesterday I streamed a new good movie. I knew directly that I would love it since it was based on a true story and I have heard a lot of good things about it.
Flight was about an airline pilot who saves a flight from crashing and he does it in a way that is amazing but he has a problem that is hidden and after the crash it becomes a threat to him that he needs to solve. The main actor is Denzel Washington and I don´t need to write so much about him since the most of you know already who he is. He played the main person and he did it perfectly. Denzel got nominated for the Oscar award as the best performance actor in a leading role and he has also been nominated 8 times for other awards for example Black Reel and CFCA award etc. All his nomination shows us the great performance he did as Whip Whitaker.
This is a typical drama movie and you actually get inspired of the movie. If you see it you will wonder how you could be inspired of it but you will notice it at the end so have faith. Some negative things about the movie are that some scenes are boring and some of the actor´s does not make the same good performance as Denzel but that is understandable.
The movie deserves appreciation for its appearance as the good drama movie it is.

Life of Pi

The story you must see.

Regi: Ang Lee
Stars: Suraj Sharma, Irrfan Khan, Adil Hussain, etc.
Runtime: 127 min

It's about a young man who survives a disaster at sea and enters an epic journey. While he is fighting for survival, he gets an unusual connection with another survivor, Bengel tiger.
Thanks to the computer animation and 3D, the movie becomes just as dramatically, so poetic, so breathtakingly beautiful as Yann Martell´s novel. Lee showed us stunning images on the borderline between what feels like animation and reality. Yann Martel´s novel published in 2001 and won the British booker prize 2002. One director after another has jumped on and off the project to make a movie of the book, which sold over seven million copies. Ang Lee was the perfect director for making this novel into a movie. Lee is a film director who makes what comes to him. He has played in movies in the United States, China, United Kingdom and Taiwan, he has made many movies with different genres. Life of PI is unlike anything else that is shown in the cinema. In fact, the movie is unlike any other movie I've seen (and they are numerous). I have never seen a more beautiful movie and I got amazed of the natural scenes for example when sky and sea merge into one and when the great blue whale jumps over the survivals. I really think it is a masterpiece and comes into my list of favorite movies.

Hamilton 2

Hamilton: But not in the case of your daughter.

This is the second Hamilton movie and it is played by the same main actor as in the previous movie, Mikael Persbrandt. For the second movie they have a new director called Tobias Falk. The movie is Swedish and the Hamilton movies have been a generation’s shift in Swedish film industry. Swedish comedies have always been good and worth seeing but the action movies have never reached the same qualities such as American action genre for example Die Hard. I'm not saying that this movie is in the same condition as Die Hard, but it is well on its way. This is an awesome start to the development of the Swedish films industry. The first Hamilton movie was better than the other but it was because when Hamilton came out it was something special. I felt when I saw Hamilton 2, to be just a repeat from the first one but I really do not regret that I saw it. The main actor, Mikael Persbrandt has been in many movies, most of them have been Swedish but 13 December 2013 and 18 July 2014, he is going to play Beorn in the two new Hobbit movies, which is world known. He is absolutely one of the best actors in Sweden.

Django Unchained

The story of Django was about a free slave who tries to rescue his wife from a plantation with the help of a German bounty hounter. The actor´s who play in this movie are Jamie Fox, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo Dicaprio and Samuel L. Jackson and more. Director and writer is Quentin Tarantino that you notice almost immediately that this is his creation. Tarantino's films stand out tremendously. He makes movies that are different from everyone else's and you can call his movies kind of "weird." One thing he does that makes his movies unique is that he concentrates on details a lot and he makes every scene with a huge affection. For example, he can make ordinary boring conversations with two individuals to a mysterious and curious conversations, really uninteresting scene but it makes the movie more reality based. Kill Bill, Inglourias Bastards and Pulp Fiction are other movies he has done and where you can also see his unusual creation of movies. Django is not his best work but it was still a really cool movie that should get much attention. He did a really awesome work once again and I really recommend everyone to see it and you should see it at the cinema because it´s worth it. Waltz, Fox, Jackson and Dicaprio were Awesome in their roles, but Tarantino should gain most of the credit because he chose out the perfect actor´s for the roles and that you notice obvious when you watch it. Django and Tarantino get a 4 out of 5 pistols.

Gangster Squad!

I saw Gangster Squad at GTC Danville Stadium 12. Of course I was sitting in the middle of the cinema because those are the best seats and saw the 113 minutes long movie. The director of the movie was Ruben Fleischer. If you don´t know who he is, he also made "Zombieland". I was surprised how good the actors appeared in the movie for example Sean Penn who played the "Bad guy" and Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone and Josh Brolin were also in the movie. Ryan Gosling gets a plus from me for his appearance in this movie, he plays his role really good as the cool cop who is determined to accomplish his mission.
I recommend seeing Gangster Squad but if you are short on money or if you do not usually go to the cinema, you should see another movie because there is more worth seeing movies out there right now.

I give Gangster squad 3 guns.
